My Precious!
Today I really wanted to finish writing my Haul & Review with this DIY set in it, but to do so you do have to actually DIY a bit before you can really review it. This was so scary for me, I didn't want to ruin my any cushion! Me and glue are kind of arch nemesis-es LOL ;) but in the end...
Very busy!
This is the only actual picture I took of decorating my any cushion. When I started I was so into it I totally forgot to take a picture, also the glue dried pretty quick. Because it's decodenning (if that's a word) and I never done that; I've played it save and remade the Flower holic from the Etude house preview. I've puzzled the flowers in the shape on my bed plate how I wanted them on my cushion. The glue was btw very hard to work with. It looked like the seal was halfway off the glue when I opened it. so maybe it dried halfway in the tube already? :O.
What I've used
All flowers with circles I've used. You also see two flowers with an extra small circle attached to it; In the small circle I showed that you need to medium sized pearl for in these flowers. At the end I only half seven large pearl left over.
How I've placed my glue and decoration.
With the big tip I've made bigger puff in a circle on my any cushion. Then with the smaller tip I just traced the entire outer circle and inner circle to creative a kind of seamless look but cute. When you start placing your decoration, only press it a little bit and very softly in the glue. I started to place the big hot pink flower right at the top. Then the big white flower on the left side. Then I puff a dot of glue under the big peach flower to help it raise it and placed it between the hot pink and white flower. Then the rest is similar with but without raising. To place the pearl on the "empty" flowers, just put a tiny dot of glue on the pearl not in the flower! When you have placed all your flowers; start placing all of the half pearls on the outer side of the glue ring. Just randomly so make it playful. Then leave it dry for 1 day or maybe 2 to be sure :)
My Flower Power Any Cushion!
I'm so happy I've played it save. I think if I tried to create something different it would be a disaster, because the glue was already halfway dried in the tube (which I've realized afterwards). I think I did a pretty good job at decorating my any cushion and copying the design from Etude House lol :) This is my "extra" Pearl any cushion I've recently bought, knowing I would try to DIY it, just to be safe haha xD
